Biography
DRIFTWOOD DRAG -the Beginning-
Aninoa was born out of the
shadows of the Tangled Wood. She does not remember her creation, nor any time before her adulthood. Nevertheless, the thickness of the land's eternal dusk suited her. However, strange creatures were peering at her through the mist, prompted her to search for a home.
Her maiden flight through the
dark domain led her to the fertile soil of the Driftwood Drag. Always an artist, it was here that she built her first lair; an impressive, dam-like structure made of murky evergreens that perched on a large tributary. Quick to adapt, she settled right in, claiming the surrounding area as her own.
Her labor attracted the
attention of a lone Mirror, Malumo. Though she was not searching for a mate, she took a liking to his honest, if a bit melancholy, demeanor. They became mates after the lair was established and began founding a new clan.
Aninoa also found a new friend,
an Umbra Wolf by the name of Rishii, hiding in the shadows of the dam. After some initial hesitance, he grew to like her companionship and became her familiar.
It was also during this time
that Aninoa learned of exalting. A silent call would come out of the heart of the Tangled Wood, guiding those who could hear it to the Shadowbinder, glorious diety of the shadows. Aninoa's first experience with this was with Yiq, the third child of her first nest. He and a few other members left while the others were sleeping, heading towards the dark ruins of the Forum of the Obscured Crescent, home of the Shadowbinder. They were never seen again. spacespacespacespacespacesp

WISPWILLOW GROVE -New Growth-
Aninoa loved finding new members. Her
clan grew quickly, but now it had grown too large to stay in Driftwood Drag. Aninoa had grown fond of her first home, so it was with some regret that she bundled up her clan for the journey to Wispwillow Grove. However, once there she was greatly fascinated by the glowing fungi. With some elbow grease, she carved out her second lair in a network of fantastically huge mushrooms. Here the bio-luminescence of the landscape inspired her to wear some light of her own. Members of the clan followed suit, using their Deepsea Bulbs to guide others through the misty dark.FOXFIRE BRAMBLE -On the Offensive-
Yet again, the clan had grown too large.
It was time to leave Wispwillow Grove. Aninoa and the clan packed up their things and headed deeper into the Tangled Woods towards the Foxfire Bramble. Once there, she constructed her third lair; a massive nest of vines surrounded by a wall of thorny branches. Due to the deep, pitch-black darkness, Aninoa encouraged others to use their Deepsea Bulbs frequently. Although the majority were Shadow dragons, it was still hard to see through the murky twilight of their home.
By now Aninoa, Malumo, and clan
member Clia, have fully trained themselves to fight. The deeper they went, the more enemies there were, and they thought it wise to learn how to defend themselves. The trio also began teaching other members how to battle. The clan was becoming more formidable each day.

FORUM OF THE OBSCURED CRESCENT -Into the Fortress- The clan was now bigger than ever. No longer could they fit in the Foxfire Bramble. They were ready to move for the last time. Deep in the heart of the Tangled Woods right in the fortress of the Shadowbinder, Aninoa found a place for her clan in the ruined temple of the Forum of the Obscured Crescent. She spruced up a large outer wing of the ruin, decorating it with items from the clan's hoard. This was their final home, now closer to the Shadowbinder than they've ever been before. | . |
