Clan Patriarch. High council member, part of the original group. Cool (as far usually are) but far more conniving and calculating than most. Has a serious vision for Bient Drotn and the world around. He plans to perfect the world- to reduce any discrimination a dragon might face. Redesign the world and its inhabitants, so everyone is the same, and criticizing a person is criticizing a reflection.

He rules Bient Drotn rather fairly, however, bringing all issues to vote before the council. Discord and Winter are the main neutralizing members, keeping him levelheaded and appreciative of dragons differences. Winter (the pearlcatcher), his mate, is also a part of the council, and works alongside him. Disaster is announcer and dealer, declaring rules and changes, moves and considerations, dealing out sentences like bad hands in cards. He and Moonlight work to brand rule-breakers who are allowed still free living. Branding is one of the harsher punishments you can receive, it involves burning the crime committed into the shoulder of the wing, or the cheek or jaw of the guilty. There are three branded in Bient Drotn, Spade and Pumpkin Spice, for necromancy, and Anthony, the outsider, for attempting to steal a history. He failed, so he was only branded, not imprisoned.
