Laika

Originally from the Lightning Flight, Laika set off on an adventure one day and happened to bump into Nimbus, a Wind dragon from Shay's clan. They talked for hours, both tried to prank each other at the same time, they crashed to the ground in a heap of silly prank failure, and then they both passed out (as Spirals are wont to do) while tangled up in a huge knot.

Upon discovering them, Shay's clan tried to get the two untangled, but it proved impossible. They didn't want to just leave them out in the open on the Zephyr Steppes, so Stirling and Ordon hefted both of them into the air and brought them back to the lair until they could wake up and figure it out themselves. They figured that, given the Windsinger and Stormcatcher's history, there were worse dragons they could bring back to the lair than a Lightning one.

Laika never really left the lair. Nobody's really sure whether that was on purpose or if she just forgot to leave. One thing's for certain, though-- the amount of pranking in the lair has increased twofold. Nimbus couldn't be happier. The pack of hatchlings is overjoyed to have another prankish commander. Dendrobates and Stirling are discussing the merits of leaving the clan.
