"Oh, um, well I just can't stop thinking..."

Named after the egyptian god of the Underworld, Anubis is a bit like his counterpart - he's quite introverted, and more often than not keeps to himself, reading something in an ancient language or playing with sand. That is actually what he does best: handle sand. Most think it's a kind of Earth magic, but Anubis often uses sand to craft illusions, both visual and tactile, as convincing as the real thing. More than once were others fooled into seeing a strange dragon, or Maren with no tails, Tricks of Light, way too many familiars... However, even with this power, this Wildclaw isn't mischievous like some would expect. He just crafts what he wants to see, or what he is asked to craft.

I never asked for that... But it seems like the hands of fate don't choose by name, they don't choose who wants the same they do. It's all by chance... I did not lead a revolution. I didn't mean to be the spark, to be the first to burst through the palace gates. But I was the first. In today's terms, I became their mockingjay, unaware of it. I didn't want to play that role, fit that part, I just wanted to not be ignored and left to do what I wanted. Without turning back at the revolution I led. Because I did lead it, even if I didn't plan to. Even if I didn't want to. And now, this... I can't help but feel like it's my fault. This mess that has become of whoever was being ignored. I didn't even know their names, and now they're on the news, and I've raised this havoc, I've created both dream and nightmare, but it's all an illusion, so why won't this go away... I feel so out of purpose now. What am I supposed to do? Why am I here? I am barely noticed, both outside and inside, and that's a kind of invisibility I just can't change. It's not up to me. Not without serious harm. And now, things have changed, I can't pull up a riot like I did once, I've... I've become too attached. Some things... there were secrets I failed to keep... What have I done?
