David

A very old dragon, huge and formidable, his scales pocked with scars from what must have been hundreds of battles through his lifetime. His color has faded and his scales have dulled with age, and the pure bulk of his youth seems to have settled into tough, sinewy muscle in his old age. He looks every bit a brute, save for the tiny spectacles he balances on his snout which rather ruin the effect.

David was once a bloodthirsty warrior, but as he aged his battlerage made way to a kind of weary wisdom and worldliness. He's seen a great many things and lost many friends along the way, and found that the satisfaction that used to follow warfare no longer came to him. His vision beginning to fail and his mind on edge, he left his old life. He banked his fortune built from the trophies and spoils of war and made a life for himself in Pod's Garden, where he now oversees construction projects, masonry, and carpentry. Despite his size and appearance, he is very approachable, although he avoids large crowds almost to a fault. He doesn't like to talk about his old life anymore, and hardly anyone knows that he's anything more than the friendly, if rough, old builder.

He often has trouble sleeping and takes special medicine made by Lin to help achieve dreamless sleep.
