Myrkvidr Clan

An isolated clan, made up of dragons that either did not get along well with others or their children. Warriors, tree singers, and the odd lazy dragon, while they don't spend much of their time together, they are an extremely tight knit clan because of their personalities. They are the sort of group that knows when something is wrong because they see each other so little that if one goes missing or is hurt, they just somehow know.

The clan was started by the Guardians Korgul and her mate, Cluster. They didn't plan on creating a clan, or anything more than a family together, but somehow they started making strong bonds with other dragons. And then it was decided that this group of friends that verged on family would be a clan, and the laziest dragon of them all somehow got the honour of being their Matriarch.

Dragons that were formerly of Shadow, Arcane, Wind, Ice, and Water, they have all been accepted into Korgul's Myrkvidr Clan. The clan is open to any and all that would align with Nature and the Clan, regardless of what flight they were born to, or the colour of their eyes.

'Village':
The 'village' of the clan is a village in the broadest sense of the term, a loose collection of homes in a general area that if asked, the dragons living there would confirm that they are indeed of the clan. Korgul spends too much of her time being lazy and sleeping in the tree boughs or sleeping by the riverbanks in the son. But that is how her dragons like it, because most of them do not have any desire for anything but the most simple of authority over them. The boundaries of the clan is amorphous, every changing, growing and thriving like the forest around them.

Treesingers:
One of the greatest parts of the Myrkvidr Clan is the Treesingers. Those that wander the forest boundaries of their clan, singing to the trees and helping them grow. Unlike others, who would see rampant growth everywhere and give no thought to it's sustainability, the treesingers of Myrkvidr carefully maintain the growth, making sure that the trees they plant and help grow will be able to maintain the place they are planted for a thousand years.

Those that sing to the trees wander the forest with a content quietness. They remember trees that they have seen grow from acorn to sapling, and sing politely and respectfully to trees that were grown almost taller than they can fly before the singers were born. Bloodoak and his singers could tell you the 'name' of every tree in their boundaries (if they were so inclined, which they are most likely not), known by names only to them and the trees they sing to.

The Dark Forest:
The Clan name that means the dark forest, the mirky wood, was chosen because of the darkness of the Matriarch. They also make their home in the darkest woods of the Viridian Labyrinth, the kind of woods where the dapples of sunlight are more a rumour and they exist in a cool green light of sunlight filtered through hundreds of leaves and vines, with dark shadows covering the floor from great tree boughs that they rest and sleep upon.

The Children:
Every hatchling, whether birthed in the nesting grounds of Myrkvidr Clan, bought in the selling houses, or given to them freely, is a child of the clan. Korgul and Cluster will look at them as nothing other than their own child, as if they hatched from their own eggs.

Hatchlings of other clan members are looked upon by the Matriarch and her mate as their own grandchildren. Which can cause some problems, as Korgul and Cluster are like any doting grandparent, and provide their hatchlings with anything they want that their parents will not allow.

Mostly sweets and allowing them to stay up late to hear 'just one more story'. (Which doesn't make sense, because Korgul is too lazy to have story material in the first place. Luckily, Cluster has a fantastic imagination.)

Relations with Others:

They maintain a friendly attitude to the children of Clan Members that are not a part of Myrkvidr, or are even parts of other flights. The core of Myrkvidr is they are a family, and while they appear that they group together only for survival and ease of living, they are one of the most tight knit clans of any flight in the world.

They rarely allow outsiders to influence them. Myrkvidr pays homage to only the Gladekeeper and the Behemoth, and will take advice from none other than themselves. And they surely will not allow outsiders to tell them what to do, or to tell them that they have to do something. Doing so is the quickest way for the dragons in question to find themselves being chased by a pack of Guardians and Snappers, with magic weaving Pearlcatchers and Imperials creating spells for their defeat.

What you have written in your dragon information section is very well done. I can't wait to see what you write for the remaining members of your clan.
