Foxglove

Foxglove is a playful heap of energy. He loves almost nothing better than running around and playing with his brother, Pippin. Being that he's the clan's fastest on foot, he goes on the majority of the clan's hunting trips – fair do's, given how much meat he can gulp down! The sheer amount of running and playing he does keeps it from showing, but Foxglove can pack it in, and does so on a regular basis. That's not to say he's greedy – he needs it to keep doing as much as he does, but even some of the guardians have to admit it's pretty impressive. Pippin just wonders where it all goes.

Foxglove was hatched in the Tangled Woods. Daybreak doesn't know how he ended up on his own, whether he was abandoned or maybe orphaned. She only knows she found a hatchling, too small to wander away, hiding underneath a bush from an Owlcat. Never has an Owlcat been dispatched so quickly. Once it was gone, the tiny thing crept out timidly, and Daybreak didn't hesitate to bring him home. There she raised him as one of her own. It took a bit for Foxglove to get comfortable in his new clan, which, considering how he ended up there, is only fair, but once he settled in, he took to his family, like he'd never known anything else. He snuggled close to Daybreak at night; he crawled all over Mercury during the day; he tumbled over Pippin in "vicious" tackles during playtime, and with a little more time, he even warmed up to the rest of the clan.
