Creatures of swampy water and murky air. Their eggs were kept hidden away deep in the lake to fester with flies and bog water. A nest of reeds and weeds to keep them still. A wretched smell hanging low on and near the nest.

When they hatched they were quick to learn the lake and it's surroundings. It was easy for this clutch. for no sight in their eyes made it easy to feel the land and the magic it had. Once they learned the land could see for them.

Like their parents they kept to themselves. Keeping to being unseen. Letting the water tell them whenever someone tried to draw close. It was also the water that sent them off. Keeping them from festering like the flies that did their eggs.

Though this is an odd one...
