we must move forward


A dirty, crumpled piece of parchment found abandoned on the library's floor notes of the Concepts:

they think I don't see them but I do. I see everything.

such arrogance in them such grace such might--

they walk between the planes of reality like gods like spirits like monsters. (like me).

a whisper in the dark. raw magic brought into being. terrific and terrible.

they don't have power. they are power.

are they gods? who are they? (am I like them?)


The parchment is marked with curious black stains reminiscent of Hunteye's shadows.

• nobody can escape Change - it is inevitable
• indifferent, sometimes cruel, though never on purpose
• sometimes what is left behind due to Change isn't always what deserved to be lost, but that it the price of moving forward
• likes rivers
• contrary to popular belief, Change never knows what is going to happen next, pretends not to have anxiety
• can visit alternate universes, but not share what was seen // exists between universes??
