Biography

Replace secondary with Striation

Eirwen's parents had abandoned her and her nest just a day shy of hatching and it would take them several weeks and increasing risk of frostbite before a large Imperial came across them. When Eirwen finally hatched she was shivering from the cold and frostbite creeping up her limbs. Her species being Tundra meant nothing since she had been abandoned for so long in the freezing temperatures of the merciless The Southern Icefield. The other eggs in her nest had unfortunately succumbed to frostbite and did not survive. The large Imperial who Eirwen would come to know as Devilwood scooped her up, and gently deposited into one of multiple satchels attached to his large body. She came to find out that he had been visiting some friends in the Ice Regions when he came across her nest. She also found out that he lived in The Windswept Plateau which belonged to Windsinger and that he used to live in The Sea of Thousand Currents belonging to Tidelord. During their journey to his home; he chose to name her 'Eirwen' which happened to mean "Blessed Snow" since she was blessed to have survived the harsh elements prior to her rescue.

Devilwood's decision to bring her along on his trip home surprised many of his clanmates as he usually kept his distance and didn't quite like picking up strays. It would take several months before the Tundra would settle into her place in the clan but her words were sparse as she preferred to spend majority of his time with the large Imperial, or curled up in the clan's forge as while their blacksmith worked with his metal. If not with either males; she can be seen having quiet conversations with the clan's elder much to surprise of other dragons. It is unknown what her occupation is but the clan's shaman speculates she will be either a guide of death or judge of fate. Devilwood thinks it is highly likely considering how Eirwen's life began.

Two or three days after her arrival to the clan's lair, Eirwen had attempted to interact with the clan's shaman slash deputy while he was working in his lab. That had been a bad mistake. The irritable Tundra had absolutely no patience nor tolerance for disruption during his lab time, and thinking it was Orestes; had flung a potion over his shoulder. The poor Tundra got the fright of his life when he heard a blood curdling scream and whirled around to face the little hatchling that had only been brought in several days ago. Her beautiful icy blue eyes and the area around it were splashed in the contents he had flung at her. While the deadly virus would devastate most, it hardly inconvenienced the Plaguling Fae.

The Tundra had swore loudly before rushing over to scoop the wailing hatchling up and bring to his desk while simultaneously clearing it with an unfolding of wing. The shaman scrambled for some medicine while profusely apologizing to the poor little one. After what felt like several minutes but felt like one or two; he finally found the medicine and administered to Eirwen. By then it was too late. Her eyes had swirled up and turned foggy. The virus had destroyed her eyesight. There was light scarring around her eyes but it would heal with time. When Devilwood found out; Lightnose had gotten the longest scolding of his life and he actually seemed very remorseful.

Later on, it did turn out that Eirwen's occupation would be Judge of Fate as well as Clairvoyant, able to see into the Past, Present and Future.
