Contagion Host & Wandering Nightmare
"Embrace the pain."

Devi has not known a life without pain. Even in her earliest, foggiest memories, there is an ache in her bones she knows she can attribute to the Contagion. Curled into her soul, it has grown over time to overtake her. At first, she wandered through the Isles in the pursuit of help- maybe even a cure? Sadly, that is not what she found. Instead, she found Artemis. She expected him to help. He did not. He encouraged the infection that had taken hold of her and recorded it's effects with great interest.

She knows no different, of course, but that doesn't mean she can't be bitter about it. She helped Artemis found the clan but feels no pull to protect them. Instead, she continues to live in spite of what grips her. Most steer clear of her, and for good reason. She won't take those from the clan; she takes excursions out into the Wandering Contagion to find her victims. Kidnapping unsuspecting dragons who let their guard down at the wrong time, she hauls them to the brim of the Wyrmwound and pushes them in. The cruelest act of vengence she can think of: at least it takes her mind off the pain for a while.
