Khol is a self-proclaimed outcast from an inactive clan. When the sickness started to set in, he left as quickly as possible, and was found by a Gathering group led by Amalthea. Always a charmer, they hit it off quickly, and he's since made many more friends within the Clan.


Khol's parrot is special to him. She's named Miri, and gets into all sorts of trouble teaching the Nocturnes of the Clan naughty words and phrases, much to Khol's amusement and the rest of the Clan's disappointment and horror. The Nochnyr is his buddy, and has been well-trained to let Khol ride on his back.


As the only one of his siblings who escaped being Exalted, Khol has a lot of fears in regards to Exaltation, and is incredibly protective of his hatchlings and hatchings in general as a result. It doesn't help that all but one of his children from his former home were Exalted. When he learned that his first son, Skyward, had become an Exalted dragon, he wept for a week. When Mila was kidnapped and almost forcibly Exalted, Khol swore he'd have no more children.

Khol is completely devoted to Amalthea; she is his goddess, the only treasure he says he desires anymore. Fiercely protective of her, Khol has been known to snap saltily at younger males who show any interest in her that he perceives to be more than simply friendly.
They have no plans at this point in time to have more children.
