Prince of a fallen kingdom
Descended from The Southern Icefield Skilled mathematician There are certain people he's inclined to trust; it's in the numbers. He should be able to trust himself, too. He has divine right - he was meant to rule. Why can't he trust that he knows the right thing to do?

Raised in a kingdom built into an underwater cave system lined with deep-water coral, in the far depths of the ocean - bracketed by The Southern Icefield and The Ashfall Waste. After centuries of isolation from the surface, its citizens are unfamiliar with life on land. As was the kingdom's tradition, the goddess spirit blessed the ocean realm with an heir - borne by the king and herself, created with magic. Jarvis has the same ethereal mane as his mother. Unable to directly seek her counsel, the young prince looks for her divine guidance through numerology. After a major catastrophe, the ocean was thrown into chaos. There is no more castle - no more kingdom. The few that survived fled north, establishing an underwater settlement beneath the shores to the east of the Sunbeam Ruins. Magic lets them swim, breathe, and build with ease - allowing for a city of stone buildings and paved roads where schools of tropical fish roam. The prince was helped to escape by his attendants. His quest to restore the kingdom is aided by Christos - once his father's royal advisor, now a lowly fisherman. The prince upholds tradition, depending strongly on charts and calculations to classify people and separate the trustworthy from the untrustworthy. This, Christos thinks, is both very princely and very foolish of him. He cannot see who a person is - only what their numbers represent. Christos considers it a fatal mistake for the prince to cling to the old ways - but they bite back their sharpest remarks, instead trying to subtly steer his way. | xxxxxx |
