Biography
Frederick Deadwood
The Father
Frederick was, at a time, the leader of the clan. He's passed this on to one of his two charges, his adopted son, Ori.
Young Samael and Ori approached the guardian after a long, long search, asking for help. Ori had just been rescued from a childhood of experimentation in one of the quarantine zones, and Frederick immediately took in the two children to raise with his mate, Rosalind, who's charge was a grand dead tree nearby. Rosalind and Frederick took a territory near Rosalind's tree, and they raised their family there.
Eventually, once Ori and Sam were older, Ori was finally located by the facility that he'd escaped from. Frederick and Rosalind fought valiantly alongside their clans militia against this threat, but Rosalind perished in the fight. Frederick forced himself to retreat for the safety of his remaining clan members, and took towards the shifting expanse, roaring in dismay as he only had a chance to mourn once they'd found a new home. He would not be reunited with his mate again for many years, but her later return as a revenant was beyond welcome.
After a few more years, Frederick passed on the mantle of clan leader to his son. He saw that Ori was very capable, and less jaded than he, and somehow more mentally stable than his other child. Though he's a little baffled at his son's constant relocating, he follows him contentedly nonetheless. He currently acts as one of his sons advisors, and will defend the his sons clan with his life.
