Biography

t8aid4.jpg Rinor (BELONGS TO COOLANGEL533
Leader of the Imperial Guard
Humble | Mature | Protective

Born the child of Lucius and Lenora of a clan shrouded in the darkness of the Hewn City. Rinor had become the King when the clan moved from the Tangled Wood to the Sunbeam Ruins - and he had taken Celairthel as his beloved queen.

He fulfilled his duty well and interacted with the clan despite his position of power. However, as he was still young, he seeked guidance from Kanrik, the old King, and the elemental mages that represented each flight in the clan. His greatest fear was failing to rule the clan properly - leading to their demise.

Having left his previous clan in shame of his mistakes as a leader, leaving another in charge of his clanmates, Rinor wandered to the edge of the Sunbeam Ruins, following the river that led to the sea of a thousand currents. There, he found peace in the quiet sound of waves washing ashore. He was soon found by the leader of a Water-born clan. The eyes of the other imperial were both fierce and kind, both intimidating and peaceful. He had a presence that could not be ignored, his role was obvious: He too was a royal.

The dark male shone under the sunlight, his bright faceted wings sparkling with every movement. He soon introduced himself.

- I am Gaius. My clan lives nearby and if you wish to find a safe place to rest, feel free to accompany me.

The presence of Beastclans prompted Rinor to accept the other male's offer. He had no intention of staying at first, for they were complete strangers, but when he arrived in the lair and saw how organized the lair was, how everyone had a role, a purpose and how well their hierarchy worked...When he saw how safe it was to live in such a place, he changed his mind and decided to stay.

He was gladly welcomed and became part of the clan. There was much to learn for him in such a place and so, he became Horus's apprentice. He would learn what he lacked, he would become a competent leader and he would be guided by the strong to in turn, guide and protect the weak.

The time has now come for Rinor to take on a role of command. With an overabundance of imperial males, a new squad has been created. This team of well-trained imperials will be at the service of the clan's allies, be they pacifist beastclans or dragon lairs. They will protect them, go to their aid and fight the good cause at all costs.

After a terrible battle where Horus was gravely injured and Hemera lost her life, Rinor was given a secondary role as an adviser and decoy king. He would bear the responsibilities the other imperial had until he healed or until another came who could fulfill the role. With his experience and knowledge, he became Gaiu's second in command, the second most important dragon of the entire lair.

After months and months bearing the responsibilities of a Decoy King, Rinor started building a team of dragons that would protect the lair, but that would also come to the aid of their allies if the need arose. He carefully recruited dragons from every flight with the help of his king and since all of the dragons were imperial males, he named the team the Imperial guard.

He now leads them on missions, delivers food to famished allies and fights to protect the Sea of a Thousand currents from invaders and threats as best as he can. Despite his previous fallings, he seems to be doing a good job of leading his team and shows no signs of fear while doing so. He has finally found a place of his own.
