Orion Elite Guard Loyal | Headstrong | Dedicated Orion was the founder of the Elite Guard. In the absence of a competent leader, he took it upon himself to protect the clan against invading enemies and Beastclans. Soon enough, he was joined by Ivy and Zephyr, his childhood friends. Of the three, he is the most mature. He takes his job very seriously and would do anything to protect his teammates. Years of fighting have taken their toll. At the dawn of the Riot of Rot(2015), Orion was gravely injured in a fight between enemy Maren and Serthis, both Beastclans attacking the lair in unison at the water's surface and below. To protect the future of the lair, to save the life of his King, he took a hit from one of the serpentine foes, a powerful poison causing him debilitating pain. Under the pale moonlight, his body arched and changed, a curse taking hold onto him, to see and watch with eyes of blood, to shelter inside a monstruosity that could turn him into an Emperor should he fall, a menace the clan could not ignore. His skills are nontheless noteworthy his strength being on par with the other Elite guard. His experience and loyalty make him valuable also, which made his case all the more difficult to deal with. For over a year, Orion struggled against his curse, fought for his life in hope of a cure to his terrible curse. Three ceremonies were carried out to cleanse his body and finally free him from his hellish appearance. After such an ordeal, the imperial male was left weak, within an inch of his life and needed time to recover. His fellow Elite Guards stayed by his side, anxiously waiting for him to wake up. When he did, he was once again their friend and ally, although his looks had drastically changed. After being healed, Orion was offered a sword by Lanastair's clan. It was a gift of alliance, a blade forged of an underwater flame, the likes of which could hardly be found. There was magic infused in the steel, a powerful energy which could not be weilded by the unbalanced or the faint of heart. As great a gift as it was, there was truth to it's double-edged nature, for Gaiu's clan would need to honor their alliance to prove worthy of such a blade. |
