Amethyst started her life in the Tsunami Flats. She was taught to respect the ocean and all of its inhabitants, lessons that she still remembers to this very day.

From an early age, Amethyst wanted to be a fortune teller- a much respected position in her homeland. Although Amethyst has no latent psychic abilities, she was determined to achieve her goals. Through hard work and some creative methods, Amethyst could predict the future through a talent she did have- keen observation. Unusual winds might indicate a terrible storm; a stutter in a story could hint at a worsening home life. Amethyst's quiet observations and application of some common sense made her a valued, if not famous, fortune teller.

Eventually, she grew bored with her life and decided to seek out a new clan. She ended up in the Starfall Isles, where she met Daenero. The two had a whirlwind romance, and have been together ever since.

As a member of the Council, Amethyst is the clan's Head Soothsayer. While this has put her at odds with Danthienne, a more traditional psychic, Amethyst's track record makes her seat on the Council unmovable. As long as her performance stays as it is, of course.
