Head patriarch of the clan. One third of the main battle team, where he functions as the tank. His fighting partners (and best friends) are Daenero and his wife, Heartmuncher. Dirk ,with Daenero, trains all wandering dragons who come to the clan in hopes of being exalted to the Arcanist.

His Charge is his beloved wife, although she huffs at the idea she needs to be protected. He also has a soft spot for young hatchlings. Despite this soft side, it cannot be disputed that he really, really loves fightin'.

Fearful for the future of Dragonkind, he and Heartmuncher exalt all of their children so they be protected under the Arcanist. But that may change in the future...
