It's beyond even my powers to raise a dragon from the dead" ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ As one of the residential magicians of the refuge, Selena embodies what many consider very traditional or typical plague-magic. She is a magician with an iron mind and a great affinity for magic as well as understanding many creatures of the wasteland. She is a very strong beliver in 'survival of the fittest' and will not shy away from being honest to the point of being blunt or coming off as rude. It is not uncommon either to hear her being slightly braggy about her strong magic, though she refuses to teach pretty much anyone she does not deem worthy. Only the other dragon Lucy, have gained her favor and has been taken in as an apprentice. Selena has a huge fascination for how life and death are intertwined and intensely study this, she is especially focused on learning the ability to raise members of the beastclans from the dead with the intention of studying them as well as using them as undead soldiers to defend the refuge. When the refuge is under attack, Selena usually helps from the large, natural walls or the back of the lines by summoning swarms of locust or raising flocks of minor creatures from the dead to do her bidding, usually mice or birds, but also sometimes hyenas or other larger scavengers. Selena originally came to the refuge with travelers who sought out the Plaguebringer but since she had little interest in directly serving the deity, she felt her talent would be better used at the refuge.
