Pumpkin

The Pumpkin Witch (or warlock, or wizard...)


Pumpkin spent his first 10 months as a big, whiny wanna-be witch with no knowledge of witchcraft what so ever. He would be constantly sneaking around the lair, spooking guests. The truth was he had a need for attention. When his mother left the lair to fight for the Flamecaller, his father had a breakdown and Pumpkin had to move out.

He crossed his mother's new land without visiting and followed the Sea of a Thousand Currents to the Windswept Plateu. Exhausted, he found a big bush to rest by at the Reedcleft Ascent. He failed to notice the lair entrance close by.

When he woke up, a green mirror was staring down at him. He immediately retreated behind the bush, but he had been observed for some time. "Please come in and have some food, and don't lay on top of my favorite bush" he said before Pumpkin had time to gather himself. After a few seconds he meekly followed Sceptile in.

The cave was somewhat crowed, but he was still shown to an empty room and told to stay as long as he wanted. After a meal and another rest, the newcomer started exploring. He had never seen so many dragons before. The noise covered him as he sneaked around. The more of the den he uncovered, the more curious he became. By the time he had uncovered every last bit of the place he had decided to stay. The den was spacey enough, the dragons nice and interesting and the possibilities of hunting in the area was rumored to be good. He even met a girl he liked, or two, but that is another story ;) He settled in well, but got too much attention in the start. After a while he saw his clanmates' lack of interest in his jokes and misbehavior as a neglect. Still, he wouldn't even think of leaving the Wind Domain.
