Crazy grandma - Tinkerer - Clan Leader
Artume took over as the clan leader after her parents stepped down. This was not out of any familial ties or tradition, nor because she was a brilliant thinker, expert strategist or, indeed, in any way qualified for the job. No, it was simply because she expressed a vague interest in the idea and no one else did.
Still, the flock has thrived despite her unorthodox command, leaving many in the clan to consider her a great leader, if a little strange. This is not true. The success of the clan is down mainly to outside factors along with a little guidance and unseen intervention from more sensible clan members.
Artume spends the bulk of her time deep underground playing with electricity and metal, within the roots of the great tree that anchors the kite portion of the clan's home. Veins of magma run close by leaving the caves swelteringly hot and the air thick. Few other dragons brave the heat or the layers of earth piled above them. Some are worried for her sanity, Artume often spends weeks underground before surfacing again.
Wind dragons do not belong so far from the sky, they say. Windsinger's blessing can't penetrate so deep. 		154953p.png
