Niamh
______________ | Strong of will and brave of herat. The Leader and Matriarch of the clan that calls the borders of Tir na nOg home. | ____________ |
Born of Tír na nÓg she knew nothing but paradise. All was smiles, butterflies and long pleasant swims. She grew up knowing The Gods as friends and mentors, telling her stories and teaching her magic, druidry, and they ways of the Tuathe. She would often walk the waters of her home, until she found a new stream. Walking it she found herself in Sornieth, walking The Gladeveins. She did not dare set foot on the soil but even then The Gladekeeper felt Her Realm touch another. Investigating this anomaly, fearing an incursion by her sister.
The Gladekeeper confronted her, and after hours of interrogation insisted on seeing this paradise. When The Gladekeeper met Danu a battle of wills ensued. Silent and staring the two sized eachother up, and The Gladekeper bowed her head once to Danu. A treaty was formed, that a way to Tír na nÓg could be forged into a Lake in The Gladeveins if ONLY nature dragons may come and go freely, the others must suffer the curse of paradise. After some time of dragons from Sornieth coming and going The Tuathe and Danu herself took on the Formes of the dragons. A wandering Plague dragon, in tent on spuyin and bringing back information, found the Lake among the rivers. Sensing him she emerged, and fell in love the moment she laid eyes on him. He was smitten, and she brought him back to paradise. Forgetting to tell him of the curse she led him to their new den and were joined the next day. When he found out about the curse he was angry, putting strain on their relationship. But he learned to find peace by inviting his friends to the fringes of The Veridian Labryinth. As well he had to prove his loyalty to The Gladekeeper by overcoming three obstacles, and was allowed no help. She worried for him but he succeeded. |
