Full Name SunPalm Athena Pronouns she/her Age 49 Occupation Captain of the Guard, Hatchling Caretaker, part time Nurse Personality Cold and inquisitive during guard duty, warm and caring otherwise, a sign of her old life creeping in. Notable things She used to be a high ranking guard in a large trader city in lightning, stationed at the bay. The tough life made her skilled at resolving problems, by force or mediation. |

SunPalm is the Partner of Nushe, has been for years, and will be until they're both with The Windsinger, and even then good luck.
SunPalm used to be a city guard for the Windswept Plateau, going into Nushe's private service to guarantee their safety as a trader.
In reality all she wanted was to have an excuse to hang out with that lovely trader some more and to see the world.

SunPalm's life was one of repetition and boredom most of the time, she worked as a city guard for one of the cities in the Windswept Plateau, in particular at the airship docks, controlling who'd come in, taking inventory, helping out when asked.
That was until she met a certain maroon coloured dragon with their own airship (and they were funny too!).
She'd always make sure to be stationed near the dock they'd always land at, where they would arrive once a month with new merchandise to bring to the people.
After they first met she'd always spend a little longer than the previous time on their ship making sure everything was in order, and felt disappointed when they boarded again the next day to leave for the next city.
Over many monthly interactions with eachother they grew more fond of eachother, and eventually during one of SunPalms breaks they finally confessed to eachother.
This made saying goodbye to Nushe even more difficult, and so she said to herself that by the next month she'd quit her guard duty to become a traveling guard on their ship.
The next time came around, and the this time meeting nushe again was so much sweeter as they were now allowed to stay together forever on their own boat.
She grew accustomed to the ship, and very much enjoyed seeing all the new places that Nushe took her to, it seemed like they intentionally picked out locations that weren't as good for business as others just so she could see some of the beautiful places Sornieth had to offer, and she loved every part of it.
Everything was going fantastic, until that one faithful day when it didn't.
By the time that SunPalm noticed what was going on and managed to convince the guards keeping everyone away from the burning wreck to let her past Nushe had already gravely injured themselves trying to save what belongings they could and collapsed in her arms.
The next months were tough, SunPalm had to care for Nushe constantly which wasn't an issue for her but they felt hopeless, their entire belongings all gone up in literal flames.
SunPalm eventually picked up guard duty again to be able to care for Nushe, but they both felt like something drastic had to be done to change things now that everything they had left was eachother.
That's when she heard something about a clan that had settled in the north, a trader was talking to someone about how their leader apparently passed through the town he was in and that they wanted to make a clan for the rejected.
It wasn't much to go off of, but it was something she had to go after, continuing their situation like this was not great for either of them.
Through hitching a ride from random traders against a bit of coin they managed to reach the place the clan was said to be at, and to her rejoice it was real.
It was exactly as described by the trader in the city, a place where dragons mistreated due to their appearance would live together, perfect for Nushe.
SunPalm picked up being a guard once again, this time with new passion knowing she'd be directly protecting Nushe, and all the other dragons in the clan.
Thanks to the experience she gained treating Nushe she is also helping out as a healer, working together with Sorbet thanks to his various gardens and many cultivated medicinal herbs.
