Lathul
«I'm weaker than anyone else, and stronger at the same time.»


Lathul doesn't come from a happy environment. When he was very young, actually, he used to be often sad and frustrated, always diminishing himself and feeling envious of others.
He comes from the Wasting Disease, which was a very unforgiving clan: its aim is to conquer the whole Sornieth, and the ones who can't help the cause are soon abandoned. As soon as he was born, Lathul knew that he needed to get stronger and more powerful, if he wanted to stay.
Still, his siblings always showed better skills than him. Tunem received the honor to join the battle for Dominance very soon, and Thalassa had strong powers that would likely let her take that same path. Lathul, on the other hand, was weak, and could not handle his powers properly. Even though nobody made ever feel him worse, he couldn't help comparing himself to others... and feeling more and more envious and full of bitterness.
Then, he discovered his unique power. A disease that came from the Plaguebringer herself - a plague that would live inside him forever and threat his life, but that could also grant him a great resistance against most of the harms in Sornieth. Unfortunately, he could not live in the Scarred Wasteland anymore: he needed to go to another region, unless he wished to die a painful death.
During his journey, he met with Seara, who told him right away that he was her Charge and decided to tag along.
