Moana

Moana loved the water from the day she was born.

Her home Clan living near the Sea of a Thousand Currents as it did, she spent much of her first few years as a hatchling learning to swim and dive like the Water dragons she watched daily. Unlike other hatchlings her age, she was uninterested in much of the affairs of land, and instead tried to worm her way into a Water Clan.

After her Clan leaders discovered her again, they sent her to the farthest reaches they could find to keep her away from the water. Moana ended up in the Viridian Labyrinth via chains, set free at the roots of the Behemoth and left to the Gladekeeper.

Luck was on Moana's side, however, when she was found by Briar after wandering deep into the Mire and becoming stuck in the heavy muck. She has since become the Clan's scribe, taking notes with a due diligence and single-mindedness that only a Lightning dragon can bring to bear.

Though her heart longs for the Sea of a Thousand Currents, her loyalty lies with the Paradise Moon Clan and its kind-hearted residents.
