B I O G R A P H Y

Ghost was hatched on the Eve of Forgetfulness. Not much is known about this 'holiday' of sorts, since most dragons forget it when the sun peeks over the horizon. It's speculated to be the day the Shade came down to Sornieth thanks to the Arcanist's meddling, but how can anyone be sure if they've all forgotten?

He was, at first, a perfectly normal hatchling. A bit on the jittery side, but he never did anything strange. He was happy, sweet, and constantly curious about the world around him. Many a journal was kept under his name. They started out as scribbles of happenings in his daily life to witticisms about the Skydancer who was his rival, or the pretty Coatl that came to his clan's feasts sometimes.

Nothing was amiss...

...until a few summers later, once he'd already grown. Ghost was strolling along the main road that his clan used to leave for the gathering grounds, accompanied by friends who chatted along with him, but the next thing he knew, he felt as if he was being hurtled forward. The world seemed to go dark around him, and for a moment he thrashed around, trying to find his bearings. It felt like hours before he finally saw something other than unfathomable darkness. A tiny pinprick of blue shone above him, and he grasped for it. His claws ached when he finally managed to grab onto it, and he realised the speck was growing in his hands. It expanded into more colours: white, red, green, grey, and brown, until he realised he was no longer staring at a dot of colour, but a... hole in the darkness. Almost as if he'd been in a dark leather bag, and he'd torn a hole in the side to reveal the world outside.

When he stepped through, though, he realised he was no longer in Sornieth. The air smelled different, even if it looked vaguely like his home. Animals he'd never seen before roamed the land, hissing at him or darting away into the thick foliage when he bared his teeth.

The sound of waves crashing against a shore caught his attention, and he fought his way out of a tangle of vines to find the source of the sound. A beach greeted him, stretching on as far as he could see, and for a moment Ghost was stricken by the sheer beauty of the clear waters and the dark sand. After a brief fumble for his journal, he was able to pen down his experience.

journal wrote:

i 'fell' into this place. how? don't know. i was just with joktan and mizra when the world went black and then... i was here. it's a beach -- i think it is. there are animals that i've never seen before. i know it isn't sornieth, for sure. why am i not more shocked? i think it hasn't sunk in.

He was about to scribble another note, but then--

that feeling is back. Once again, he was thrust into the void, but now his journal and his pen aren't with him. He'd let them go in his haste. Scrambling around, the poor boy tries to find them again. As expected, the log is nowhere to be found, and he nearly cries.

Ghost is a sad sight when the world finally melts into light -- light, the Light territories, and he can see his friends a few feet ahead; he can hear them calling hoarsely for him.

"What happened?!" Joktan demanded, dashing over upon catching sight of him. In a daze, he explains, and mourns the loss of his beloved journal. Of course, he's met with a disbelieving shake of the head from Mizra; "At least you're back," she says, and he can't really help but agree there.

____Lblurb dump thinkg because im too lazy to finish this right now .d kjfhskgjhsdkghkdfhg . ghost... hes kind of like a priest + scribe figure. he can go between dimensions easily but he always loses memory of what happened in that dimension, so he keeps a lot of journals detailing everything he did. the majority are in his library in the sunbeam ruins, but he forgot to make a map of where it was so its as good as lost... the only thing he can remember is what happens in sornieth, and even then his memory is hazy. they named him ghost because with every time he disappeared into another dimension (he cant exactly control it), people also forgot him but he didnt exactly forget others. so he lives a sad life in which he has only hazy memories of his loved ones, and they have little to no memories of him. poor dude.

Ghost is very impressive here with the balance between his more muted periwinkles and lavenders and the far more saturated hues in his apparel. The charming sage sash will be a perfect addition to this look! Bonus points for that Mibella bio template being nearly 100% filled, kudos to you.

You have some v cool imperials omg but Ghost is my favorite!! His apparel makes him look so magical, I love the feathered wings on him, and the trickster's cards!! You mixed a bunch of different apparel set pieces and they go so well together xoxo

Ghost is born one day after me which I didn't realize til after I picked him but it makes me love him even more. That said, I originally picked him to gush over because he's just so soft looking with the purple stain and then on top of that you have such good outfit coordination. The cards bring in that nice purple shadow/fog and the ghost flame ribbons bring some elegance, bt then you have that nice pop from the orchid wings.

Do you trust him? A tricksy boy, playful and serious. The stained tert which again is a really hard gene to work with in my opinion really brings everything together from his other genes to his apparel. I really like when mismatched apparel comes together and looks cohesive, and you've done that with this boy.

Ghost: I tried to tell her a bit about the story, and in response to his dimension-hopping power she asked, "Oh, how does he do that?" Then she pointed to his book and asked, "What's this?" and I told her it's a book. She said, "A book, so he reads? In what language? HAH!" She was very amused by the thought of dragons reading books sldkjf

This dragon has a very dream-like quality to him, the stained makes him so soft, so peaceful, there is no contrast to be found here, because it isn't needed. The wings are clearly the focal point of this dragon with its boldness. I love how the apparel surrounding the wings distributes the colours from them to the rest of the dragon, everything blends so nicely. The darker colours of the book are even balanced with the cape's edge. Perfection.
