Erra, as the first blood-child to remain among the clan, has become a soft spot for several older members. He is the son of Wraith and was mentored by both his father and his leader, Scythe. Though not an avid fighter, he takes after both the significant males in his life by being an unbalanced mixture of the two. Upon first meeting, most dragons would find Erra to be an irregular member of the clan, for he is silent and seemingly kind because of his obedience. The tendency to listen to authority arose from tragedy, however, in which rebelling against an order in the midst of battle lost him his tongue and part of his jaw. Now, he obeys every command, having discovered just how cruel his opponents can be to the young and inexperienced.

Traumatic memories and time among Scythe have twisted his mind. The Imperial is known to suddenly lash out and harm others at random moments for seemingly no reason. This includes other clan members, though he has never shown such disrespect to his leaders, his father, or his beloved mate. No matter the issues he suffers, he is a son of Plague and has adapted thusly to become a well-respected member of the clan.
