Stag Lord, Nasuada found the title the mortals had given her strange. Didn't they know all stags were men? She supposed they might not, for they did not spend days and weeks speaking to them as she did, in the clean air after a rainstorm. In the rain, her own power seeped into the damp earth, washing away the sins of men. Yes, Nasuada knew all about their sins as the deer did, she was an effigy of the darkness inside men's hearts.
They met with her, to pursue their dark deeds. Nasuada knew their kind well. Knew of their greed and that in the darkness they lusted for conquest. They came to her, assuming they could conquer her too. Silly men, with darkness in their hearts, how could they conquer the master of it? Nasuada found them funny, as she bent them to her will. Even evil men must serve someone, but who would ever suspect it to be the soft spoken immortal, a beauty in the depths of the woods?
