╰━━━━━━━━╯ 		In every clan, there must be someone to keep the familiars in line, especially the newest ones, those least accustomed to dragon companionship. Encore is often the first to volunteer for the job, though, no matter how ill-tempered the familiar or how remote the climate. She's a natural talent with the creatures of Sornieth, somehow soothing and stern all at once. Even the most troublesome familiars learn to trust the lilt of her voice and the easy roll of her gait. In fact, the only creatures she ever has trouble with are the fiendcats of the Volcanic Vents.

Fiendcats are volatile creatures, vicious and hardy, built to withstand the choking ash and obscene pressure generated around a volcano. For whatever reason, they scorn Encore, never willing to give her any ground. It is her ultimate goal to finally tame one of these beasts, and she has gradually moved her way southward from her home in order to reach the Ashfall Wastes, the heart of fiendcat territory. There, she hopes to learn what makes them such abrasive animals, and there, she hopes to finally prove that she can keep any familiar in line. Any familiar at all.
