Once an acerbic visionary, Lazerai is absolutely brilliant and is a genius mathematician and engineer. He has the bossy, controlling, irritable demeanor of the deity he was raised to serve. He is primarily responsible for destroying and tearing apart the power-generating Lightning Farms, as well as whatever other constructs the Luddites come across.

He along with Dekemi are the only members of the Luddites allowed to handle functional technology.

In the wake of his mate's death, his temperament has soured further to a brooding, dysfunctional temperament that shows only negativity and unhappiness. He is plagued by regrets from choices he made with his new fellow Engineer, Dekemi, while Tesla was alive and immediately following her death. Furthermore, he struggles to see eye to eye with the clan's goals after experiencing the gut-check of losing a loved one while in their service.
