Ingion means "Son of an Idea" and he certainly lived up to that legacy. He and Solara built this clan from the ground up, and they're both justifiably proud of that achievement. Sometimes, though, if you catch him at an unguarded moment, you can sense a fierceness to that pride, as though he had something to prove. Neither Ingion nor Solara set out to build a huge clan, but they created a closely-knit community that proved very attractive to several other dragons, and they can't bring themselves to turn away anyone who offers friendship in good faith. Ingion himself has said that he sees the whole clan as family, and due to his kindhearted spirit they surely feel the same.

When a dragon comes to join the clan, it is Ingion who will welcome them and see that they find a living space they are comfortable in. He can't stomach the idea of any dragon under his protection feeling uncomfortable, so he takes care to ensure that everyone has what they need to feel at home, whether that's extra food or a quiet space to unwind. He can often be found working on repairing or improving the lair, even late into the night, and occasionally if he's feeling inspired, he will cook a huge meal for the entire clan.

Although willing to fight, Ingion will prefer to find a diplomatic solution. While his mate heals and supports other warriors from the backline, Ingion will meet with representatives to find a solution that satisfies all sides of a dispute. His negotiations have often brought the clan great benefits, because he is willing to take the advice of his more perceptive and cunning clanmates. This allows him to trade for seemingly worthless concessions that end up advantageous to the clan. His reputation as a negotiator also draws other dragons to call on him as an impartial third party and mediator. Although he is great with resolving conflicts between large groups, he becomes much less confident when dealing with conflicts between individuals, especially if one of the individuals is himself. Despite this, his willingness to accept advice ensures that he can remain on top of any negotiation.

____He doesn't talk about it much (ever), but Ingion had a life before he met Solara. His parents left their clan as soon as Ingion hatched, and while a few of the dragons in the clan tried to make him feel welcomed, it was always clear to him that his parents had left the clan four paws short and one mouth hungrier. Mostly it was the little things, no dragon would actively deny a hatchling food but they definitely didn't go out of their way to help him. He did try to help out as much as possible, but he was young and there wasn't very much he could do.

____Some weeks after his hatching, an older hatchling took a disliking to Ingion. She was tired and hungry and he was an easy target to blame for the lack of food, and she made sure he knew it. The elders of the clan didn't move to protect him, having more important things to worry about than the well-being of an extra mouth to feed. The older hatchling easily blocked Ingion from eating at every meal, and the other dragons were too preoccupied with the survival of their own families. A few even agreed with the whispers against him, and he knew he had to leave. So finally, Ingion packed up his few possessions and left his birth clan behind him.

____Ingion flew far from his birth clan, traversing the entirety of the Lightweaver's domain. Near the border of the shifting expanse, he paused to rest his wings. He hadn't really thought about what he planned to do, he had just known that he needed to leave before the resentful faction of his former clan did something drastic. He knew that the Windswept plateau was said to be a haven for travelers, so he thought he might go there, at least until he had regained his strength. However, he was torn from his planning by a fae who flopped into the clearing before him. She looked little older than himself, and introduced herself as Solara.

____Like Ingion, Solara had nowhere to call home. They decided to stay together, in the land they were most familiar with. They would found a clan together, and it would be a home to any dragon who needed one.So decided, they traveled to a place the Lightweaver showed them, by the sea between the Beacon and the Sundial Terrace. Sheltered among the tall pines but with a view of the water if they cared to fly high above the trees, the land the Lightweaver gave them was bountiful and would sustain them for many years to come.
