Clan Role:
Shade researcher and nautical history buff Woollybear is very much like her name implies: a big pile of fluffy hugs and cuddles capable of eating her way through the jungle foliage. Her taste for plants is a little stronger than the average gaoler's, and her favorite dish is a toss-up between roasted seaweeds or a seasoned kelp salad. She'll go diving for kelp off the coast and forage in the jungle for complimentary herbs. When not frolicking or harvesting dinner, she's collaborating with the gaolers of the clan to research the mysterious Shade contamination spread throughout Sornieth. Between her and her mate Echojowl, she's the more organized of the two, and is usually the one keeping the samples and notes in proper order. All the Shade researchers will have regular meetings to share and discuss their findings, and Echojowl will bring snacks or dinner along to feed everyone. Similar to Echojowl, she has a passion for history, but more specifically nautical history. Their lair is littered with ancient treasures salvaged off the sea floor, many of which Woollybear cannot identify. While the Shade is her main priority, in her spare time, she'll search for answers to these mysterious relics of the past, in hopes of discovering their time and purpose. For some, though, she's beginning to feel that she has just as much chance of revealing their origin as she does of finding the missing Tidelord. She's one of the few dragons of the clan who gets along surprisingly well with the resident pirates. Most dragons are convinced that there's a hidden reason for that, especially considering that they've never tried to pillage her lair, as tempting as the ancient treasures inside must be. The other dragons don't feel much need to pry, though, because Woollybear is one of the only dragons who can convince the pirates with words alone, without threats of force. As long as everyone can get along and live happily, they're not going to look a gift dragon in the maw.
