Firnen

Mated to Keshav, Matriarch of the clan, Firnen actually doesn't spend a lot of time with her. While she roams the boarders looking for intruders, Firnen's charge is much closer to the center network of the clan.


In the depths of the Gladevines, Firnen watches over hatchlings. They are his charge, his ultimate duty, from the time they were laid in the Setaria nests until they are of mating age.

He watches over them, not nurturing. That is not his way, Firnen is not that caretaker of the hatchlings. That duty belongs solely to Radiant. Firnen guards the hatchlings, protecting them from the fierce predators that occupy the Viridian Labyrinth.

That is his commitment in life, to shelter the eggs with wings and teeth, for Firnen will be ready when the enemy comes. They will not hurt what he cares for most.
