There was something endearing about his silence. It was humble and modest. And the way his eyes lingered, his mouth curved into a soft smile... it was enough to make anyone's heart melt.

And melt they did. They were drawn to him, to his quiet disposition and his calm words. And though everyone knew he was untrustworthy, they couldn't help themselves.

Something about Tanithe called to them. His presence was calming, and when he looked at them, his eyes warm and soft... they felt like they were the only one that truly mattered in this dark, twisted world.

But when they finally let their guard down, when they thought that maybe, just maybe he was the one...

He cast them off.

His eyes cold and distant, that once endearing smile twisted into a cruel sneer, he looked at them and felt nothing.

When they pleaded for him to let them back, to stay and help them, when they cried and begged him to care, to stop fighting, stop killing, stop stop stop—

... He felt nothing.

Level 25 dragon that spends an unreasonable amount of time in the coliseum killing off innocent Beastclans, breaks people's hearts without remorse, totally ditches you when the goin' gets tough, looks out for himself and only himself. Flirty, affectionate, romantic. But is rude, untrustworthy, dishonest, and disloyal, and has trust issues and lacks empathy. Oh, and is shy.

Tanithe is the worst sort of person. He's the guy who asks you out on a date and then stands you up because he got "busy" or "lost track of time." He's the guy who asks you continuously for favors, but never keeps his own promises. He'll flirt nonstop, showering you with praise and words of affirmation, and then turn around and ignore you the next day. He goes through dates like there's no tomorrow, sometimes within a week, sometimes in a month, and no matter how many times people warn them, someone always falls for his cute little smile and that charming attitude. Ladies flock to him, and Tanithe unabashedly flirts with anything that moves.

In all honesty, Tanithe doesn't care whatsoever. He doesn't care about anything except fighting Beastclans all the time 'cause he's just so addicted to the coliseum. They'll talk all they want about him, talk bad about him, and it doesn't bother him one bit. There's no sense of goodness in him, there's not even some tragic backstory that accounts for his worthless attitude. He's just a jerk, through and through.

When you most need him, Tanithe's just gone like the wind. Poof. As if he's never been there. He'll leave his best buds hanging on the edge of a literal cliff, crying for help, and just shrug and make his way home all calm and careful. And if anyone asks, "Hey, what happened to John?" Tanithe just looks at them blankly and says, "Who?"

H i s t o r y
Tanithe doesn't talk about his past. Others aren't even sure if he even knows his past. But there've been whispers that he's the son of Reginald and Celozon, which certainly accounts for his murderous ways and his strangely charming attitude. But neither Reginald nor Celozon ever acknowledge him as their child, and when asked, Reginald and Celozon deny even having had children. It makes for quite a scandal especially since he's not a Snapper like his supposed parents. Some say maybe Reginald found him on the black market. Others say Celozon found him as a lost baby and took him in out of the goodness of her heart. And even more say that those other rumors are absolutely insane and, are you serious? Reginald and Celozon having a child no one's heard of? Seriously? Just what are you guys hallucinating?

Whatever the case, Tanithe came from the Tangled Woods. Whether he was born into the clan from parents who disowned him or he just ventured in and decided to settle, no one's quite sure. There's speculation that he's had training in combat, but people who call that juicy gossip are just kidding themselves. He's level 25. He spends all day in the coliseum. Of course he's had training!

The only person Tanithe hasn't tried to woo is Zhora. No one knows why, and Tanithe never gives a reason. Some people think it's because she reminds him of his long lost sister, and others say, "What sister? You mean the one he ate at birth?" (Which, certainly could be true considering how bloodthirsty Tanithe always is). Zhora looks out for him, even if he doesn't want her to. But he puts up with it, sometimes just barely. He's actually pretty mean to her, never puts on his charming mask and never curbs his words. He'll tell her like he means it, and if it's something along the lines of, "That outfit is hideous." or "You are infuriating." then so be it. Zhora is... surprisingly passive towards him. Just shrugs it off and goes with the flow. Though the fact that she bailed him out of dragon jail might be why Tanithe likes her so much. ("Like" being a relative term. Tanithe's version of like is akin to how a cat stares disdainfully at a piece of fish and looks at you like, "Is this really the best you can do? Fiiine. I guess I'll eat it if I must.")

Tanithe's been seen hanging out with Aisha and Markander. Aisha because she's the only other person willing to enter the coliseum with him (Though she hates his guts and once they're done, she stalks off in a huff), and Markander because he's Aisha's mate and he's there to make sure Tanithe doesn't do anything crazy. Tanithe, as usually, doesn't care whatsoever about who they are or why they're there. He just cares that he's able to beat up some Beastclans.
