Everyone deserved a good bowl of noodles. Criminal, saint, exaltee, exalter, Maruchan didn’t discriminate. She fed all those who came through her doors, even though sometimes it got her into trouble. Crafting new ramen noodle dishes was her one true noodly love, after her mate Top Ramen. The Lightweaver had blessed Maruchan with a mate who loved ramen as much as she. She didn’t think she’d be able to exist without Top and her carefully curated ramen shop.

Her business was slow to start, but after a particularly famous dragon had dined there and praised it to the Shade and back, it boomed like never before. She couldn’t keep the dragons away. During her peak hours, the line wrapped all the way around Skyloft, dragons buzzing with excitement at tasting the fabled noodles. Maruchan’s dream was for dragons all across Sornieth to taste her meals, and she was living it sooner than she had ever hoped. A help wanted sign was perpetually posted outside the tent, though it had only attracted Yanira’s attention so far.

Maruchan didn’t care for the Collapsible Tavern or Mung Daal’s more traditional Bamboolean Restaurant much, though she did enjoy a relaxing meal with friends there on her days off. Maru decorated her ramen shop with bamboo she found in the Windswept Plateau, waterfalls meticulously engineered by Grinder, and table cloths embroidered by August. Some dragons said it felt cluttered, but Maru thought it felt perfectly cozy.
