Top Ramen would follow his mate anywhere. Since she was a spiral, that was lots of places. He followed the tantalizing smell of ramen to her when they first met, followed her when they left the Sunbeam Ruins, followed her when she waltzed through Skyloft looking for the right place to put their shop. Top found the spiral mesmerizing, though he thought that may have had to do with how much she looped and twirled when she flew.

But Top Ramen followed her anyway. He adored Maru and loved making the noodles they served by claw. Thanks to his mean noodle-making skills, the little side shop had burst into a full-blown restaurant with tables and cheesy decorations that Maru loved. And, well, he thought the decor was quite all right too. Really, Top Ramen thought he couldn’t have struck it better. A successful restaurant and a beautiful mate--what more could he want?

Top Ramen felt like some of the other dragons didn’t care for him. Were they jealous of Top-Up Ramen Shop’s success? The weird atmosphere didn’t bother him too much. Not with the dragons who counted, anyway. He loved meeting his friends for an afternoon drink at Beryl’s Collapsible Tavern or watching things explode in Julian’s laboratory. Though it didn’t seem like it, Top Ramen put the shop second and all his relationships first, otherwise he’d go crazy for ramen.
