Biography
Druantia
"Drus"
Leaving Nereitte's of the Snowsquall Tundra, her birth clan, Drus journeyed North searching for the clan that would become her new home. Along the way dryads passed word of her coming, whispering her name in her ears when she forgot. They smelled of friendship and guided her around lands & dragons who terrified her in her inexperience.
She often forgot where she was traveling to and feared she was wandering aimlessly. When that happened they sang to her of a clan of huge Guardians with memories of the Ancient times in the Northern lands. Drus doubted any dragons could keep so many memories, but didn't share her doubts with the dryads who were so kind to her.
After traveling for longer than Drus could remember she arrived in the lands of the Earthshaker, called Dragonhome. She had passed many clans on her way. Each had welcomed her to their lairs, but she felt her home clan was still ahead of her. Each morning she thanked them for their hospitality then was away; always moving North in the dawn light. Finally she arrived in the territory of a huge clan known as the Ravens Keep Highlanders. Approaching cautiously she saw many other Tundras; some playing with hatchlings, others keeping watch over a vast herd of goats on the hillside. They looked content in this place.
The dryads whispered in excitement that this might be the new home she'd set out to find. Drus hoped they were right & this would be the end of her long journey.
In the Autumn following settling into her new home Drus met a beautiful Guardian named Jarek. In time they had three hatchlings from their breeding. Their first daughter chose to travel to her friend Byrne's home clan. Their 2nd daughter & son, both traveled to different clans seeking varied experiences.
Some of the kind dryads accompanied each hatchling on their journey to keep them company. They gently reminded them of their destinations, & guided them around dangerous areas just as they had done for the hatchlings' mother during her own journey North.

In Dryad mythology Druantia is a fir tree goddess who probably had her origins in Gaul. The root of her name, drus, means "oak," and links her also with oak trees and with the druids. Today she is associated with the dryads, the tree faeries, and reigns as their queen. The dryads protect their native trees by punishing those who show disrespect. Known as the "Queen of the Druids", Mother of the tree calendar; Fir Goddess. Fertility, passion, sexual activities, trees, protection, knowledge, creativity.
