Although Rhiannon's developed contacts among the trading caravans; the traders are unaware that she checks their info with second & third contacts unknown to each other. It's a game she loves to play as she goes about serving her clan.
The ever moving Snappers are her greatest source of information & it is with them she spends the most time. Where the traders often supply a framework, the Snappers fill in all of the details, or at least all they know, which can be considerable.
She had brought the news that the clan's male progen, Crispin, had gone to serve Earthshaker in his quest for honor & excitement. Rune had listened to her report, but had not been surprised. Rhiannon wondered if she had known his plans before he ever left, & how she herself had not learned of it until it was gossip among the traders.
Rhiannon respects Rune's ability to keep secrets.
