Cael liked the welcoming clan & stayed after most of the other Coatls in his group had resumed their travels.

He soon found his place among them on the fishing forays organizing a system that made the gathering run smoothly with larger catches. The adult Guardians would swim far out, then turn herding all the fish before them into the shore. In the shoals Cael would be waiting with the youngest guardians to sweep the darting fish onto the shore where they were collected by the rest of the fishing party.

Raiden, one of the gigantic Ridgebacks in the clan, took most of the catch onto her back & outspread wings then carefully carried it all back to the lair. Everyone knew she hated getting too close to the water, but understood her desire to help since the Ridgebacks ate only seafood, & lots of it. She'd been welcomed by everyone when she volunteered.
