-a fine poet
-thinks a lot of himself

-sometimes tries to put on plays he writes, with Zeta as a supporting actor
-quickly devolves into yelling at Zeta to stick to the script!!!

-assists Serif with particularly ambitious runic projects. While Serif has the handwriting and syntactical know-how, Taffeta has the poetic skill to really get in the mind of the magic, and write a rough script the magic might follow to achieve the desired effect.
-finds that when doused with magic, he really has an aptitude for understanding how that magic form behaves- and his writings do it justice
-Motley requests he right different-element lyrics sometimes, and he works with Amlot to get into the mindset of that type of magic
