Serif

-front left leg is a prosthetic (what happened? how does the prosthetic work?)
-scribe/calligrapher, and tattoo artist
-Darter's boyfriend
-neato tool bag, featuring various needles and inks, some more magical than others
-sports many tattoos of his own design

-uses inks imbued by Aedwyn to create magical runes; has been known to use such magic runes for tattoos, powering various devices, and granting blessings to unhatched eggs

-ink base harvested for him by Darter from some friendly octopi

-has a psywurm companion, Lucida- originally helped him with his more ambitious ideas, feeding energy into his prosthetic or other runed projects. A psywurm's wild energy made for crude works, however, and he since began a partnership with a dragon with a more refined magic touch- making Serif's runes work much more neatly, and leaving Lucida to just be a pet- often found laying across his shoulders like a scarf, occasionally in her boredom causing Serif's tattoos to behave erratically.
