The Boxer
The ill-tempered Hephaestus is the head of the tribe's archeology team, tasked with uncovering the mysteries of the temple ruins the tribe calls home.
As a hatchling, he was the runt of his clutch, making him easy prey for his siblings' ridicule. As time went on, it only got worse as it evolved from just verbal abuse to emotional abuse. As soon as he was old enough, he wasted no time escaping his torment. As his siblings slept, Hephaestus flew into the night. Unable to see in the dark, he unknowingy flew into an carnivorous plant's trap. While he managed to escape, he lost the lower part of both of his legs in the process. The world started to go dark for him, but as he lost consciousness, a figure approached him.
When he woke up, Hephaestus found himself on a bed of leaves staring up at a stone ceiling. A snapper mage and her pearlcatcher apprentice were crowded around the awakening fae.
