Sorin Markov has seen the Windsinger and returned, several times. He is the guide and educator for the to-be-exalted, because he's seen so many leave he's seen so many leave, he's a quiet, aloof dragon that hates attachment. Sorin, more commonly called by his last name, Markov, came to the lair as a hatchling, an arranged birthing that was set up between his home and where he lives now. When Yersina came to the clan, she was the only hatchling, causing Markov to quickly become friend with her. They were wonderful friends, and after a while he started calling her "Sina", one of the first signs of affection, soon he could only think of her, it was like a disease, one in which he thinks comes from her secret. Sina soon told him of her condition, and while he promised to keep it, he was weary of her since. When she confessed her love to him, he rejected her, for he only saw her as a friend, or a little sister, but in reality, loves her dearly. Ever since then, he has held her at wing's distance, which is very far seeing as he's an Imperial, but still keeps the joy of her company. There are multiple reasons to why he has chosen not to court her, one being his aversion, and fear, of attachment. As the days go by, as more and more dragons are exalted, Markov feels his love for Sina growing.
The day JARVIS joined the clan, was the day Markov cracked, slightly. The month old dragon came to the lair completely clean, of everything, being part machine he was wiped for the new clan. Crow was told that the Wildclaw would imprint upon the first dragon he saw, so the Lair Prince promptly set him with Sin, this angered Markov when he learned that, not only did JARVIS now love Sina, Sina accepted his request to being JARVIS's mate. This is when Markov named the Wildclaw J.A.R.V.I.S, (Journeying Artificial Replicate Viable for Immediate Sabotage) this Wildclaw, JARVIS, had sabotaged what Sina and Markor had left. JARVIS was beyond innocent, even when Markov was a complete a** to him, JARVIS would smile and thank him, like everything was fine. By the Windsinger, Markov hates the dragon. The day Blood arrive, Sorin knew that Yersina would set herself upon him. He was disappointed to find out he was right when Yersina told him she had started seeing Blood. Although Sorin hated JARVIS, he still felt mildly bad for the dragon. After several months, Yersina cut off ties with JARVIS and became official mates with Blood, Sorin hated it. He felt like his heart ripping in half once more, wishing he had accepted Yersina's affections the first time around, or the second, or the third, but he knew he could never be with her. Not how he wanted to be.
