Everyone starred at him shocked, his parents looked ashamed and horrified, until one of the elders stepped forward and said "And why pray tell would you want to do that young one?" He answered honestly and politely, "Because sir, I think it's one of the few things I'd be able to do properly." The elder seemed to think for a moment before saying "If that is true then you must go find a clan, for we already have all or representatives here." Blitz was slightly shocked but he nodded and said "If that is what I must do to do as I want, then I shall leave this clan and find another." His family looked shocked but the elder spoke before anyone could do anything "You have one month to prepare young one, then you must leave this clan to find your own." The elder turned and walked away. His parents left without saying a word to him, and he was soon left standing in the room alone. Athe end of the month, he was not yet ready and the elder sent a notice that he would be up for auction as of that night. He knew he wouldn't be able to choose his clan now, but at least he could stay a bit longer. His family still did not speak to him, and he really couldn't blame them. He heard his mother crying the first night, about how she did not want him to leave. When he reached the auction house he saw many other dragons all looking sad and some even tormented, many were still only children themselves and yet they were here. He had been given a small room with only a few furs as a bed. He hated being around the others. They had this pleading look in their eyes that made him feel like his heart was being torn at. He had mostly stayed in his room and prepared to be a representative when he was bought. Word came days later that he had been purchased by a lovely Guardian named Raven and was expected to leave immediately. Grabbing the few personal items he had, he left without a word to his family, or the rest of the clan. After having flown for hours, Blitz was ready to collapse but he was expected to arrive today, so he had to keep going. He soon saw the clan he was to be a part of and began to descend. As he got closer he saw an Imperial and an older guardian he assumed was Raven, both females as far as he could tell, standing outside looking around. They stopped looking when they saw him and as he landed the imperial spoke up "Welcome to your new clan." He smiled at her and said "I'm glad to be here. I'm Blitz." Raven spoke up and said "Welcome to our clan Blitz. I hope you make yourself at home quite well here." At that comment the Raven walked back into the lair. The Imperial said "I'm Hasaia, and I'm the clan leader. I'm also the arcane rep here in our clan but that's not to important right now." Turning to walk inside she said "I'll be showing you around personally as I heard you were to be our new Lightning rep? If so then we are glad to have you." He followed her closely and said "Yes, I'm here as a representative." "Alright, then I'll show you your new room first, then the main hall, and the rest you can figure out as you go." H nodded and followed her around the lair for almost an hour as she pointed things out. Finally reaching the main common room he noticed all the dragons from different flights interacting. Smiling, Hasaia said "I'll leave you here to get acquainted with everyone, I have important things to attend to. So if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask, no one here bites." He smiled at her and replied politely "Thank you very much." As he watched her leave the room he thought "I could definitely get used to this place". He walked around the room most of the night meeting new dragons and just talking and having fun. Most wanted to know why he chose to be a lightning rep but he didn't have much to say about it, only that it was what he wanted.
