Strange that an Arcane dragon, so often characterized as being only interested in magic, should be so wise in technology and machinery. Many have this thought running through their heads as they are introduced to Jolt, one of the engineers onboard. Her cold pink eyes will stare out at them, unflinching.. It seems like everyone she addresses, she addresses with a challenge sparking in her gaze. Like she’s saying, Yeah, so what? I’m not from Lightning. Nothing I can do about it, huh? She’ll keep her gaze steady until theirs drop. She is a sharp contrast to her bubbly, kind mate. And for good reason too. Though Electron´s past was certainly no piece of cake, at least he got something good out of it. All Jolt got out of her past is pain. Her clan was new, barely starting off. It was small, and the leader was cruel. He had them work all day under the hot sun, catching diseases and growing hungry. He claimed that this was how every civilization started; with a little pain and a lot of elbow grease. In the Focal Point small clans are generally driven out or destroyed by the strange, alien creatures riding the meteors that rain upon the land . This was no different with Jolt’s clan. Soon, mere months after she was born, their clan was attacked by a pack of these aliens. They were hopelessly outnumbered. The leader fled in fear, and was never to be heard from again. Her mother, her father and her two brothers all fought for her. They were selfless and brave, and she lost one after another as they pitted themselves against their enemies to save her. She was always swept away in the tide of terrified dragons before she could see what was happening. Soon after this, she vowed to be courageous, just like her lost family members. She would never again back down from a fight. However, every dragon has their limits, and Jolt was barely out of her hatchling years. She was left to fend for herself.. that was until she ran into Electron´s. He was an engineer onboard a giant ship. When he showed up, it was like she had been a dark candle all her life, and he was the match that lit her. She felt alive around him, and soon they were paired. Even before she met him, she loved tinkering with machinery and trying to improve it, and he only increased her love for this hobby of hers. The two are often seen together, working side by side, with a small smile playing across Jolt’s lips. Ever since she became mates with Electron, her severe independence has softened to something more manageable, something more likable. Now, instead of seeming imperious and aloof, dragons watch her with respect. She is always the one to go out and test their creations of gadgets and trinkets, whirling and twirling with a grace that only she seems to possess.
