An erratic visitor steeped in darkness and mystery. Nightvale is a wanderer who seems to have no recollection of her own childhood or growing up; she simply just is, and wherever she goes dragons step aside - she seems to be something more than a dragon, or perhaps she is just the vessel for one. Though blind, her remaining senses are keener for it, and the knowledge she holds seems to prove that losing her sight in exchange for wisdom was a trade she found worthy.

The patterns on her skin crawl and rearrange themselves periodically; sometimes she will open her mouth and produce only bone-chilling static. She is pleasant and polite, a good conversationalist, but there is a shadow on her that cannot quite be ignored; it makes her hard to talk to.
