Role Mechi holds two positions in the Refuge, the first is her role as the fire representative and ambassador, and the other is as the Refuge's metal-smith. Mechi doesn't enjoy spending too much time away from her forge so she limits her journies to the Ashfall Waste to only what is necessary. Mechi makes all the armour and weapons and any other tools for the Refuge and she sometimes spends days on a single project to perfect it. Many call her a workaholic. History Mechi was raised in a poor family that struggled to get by, when she was quite young, she was taken on as an apprentice by a blacksmith in a neighboring clan and she discovered she had quite a talent for it. However, when she grew older, she set out to find a way to support her parents and younger siblings. Mechi came across band of violent bandits. When Mechi discovered how large the share of resources could be, she agreed to join them. Most of her share was sent back to her family. When her family discovered what was going on, they began to refuse to accept the money. As a result, Mechi tried to leave the bandits but the boss threatened her and her family and she was forced to stay. She stayed with them for three years before she met Tetezi, who trapped her when she was on a raid near his clan. Tetezi managed to figure out her situation and helped her escape. Tetezi brought her back to the Refuge with him and she's been there ever since. Personality Mechi is extremely dedicated to her work and prioritizes it over her friends and other relationships. She's a little anti-social but she cares for her friends in her own way, to those her don't know her, she may seem emotionless and coldly apathetic. However, Mechi simply prefers not to show her emotions because she is extremely private. |
