Most of his clanmates nickname him "Moony", partly for his name and partly because most dragons think he's a bit crazy. He keeps talking about some other race of beings - not dragons, but not quite Beastclan either, or deity - watching them.
He dressed up as a pirate for Halloween, but liked the costume so much that he just continues wearing it.
Once Moonbiter was chosen for a "Best Name above you" forum thread and a "Worst Name above you" thread in the same day. No one else can quite figure out what he means by "forum thread" or who exactly he was "above", but he's pretty proud of the achievement.

Anyone would think that he'd hoard gold, treasure, treasure maps. But in reality he hoards feathers. Small feathers, giant feathers, dull looking ones, and brightly colored peacock feathers. No one is really sure what he does with them all though. He may change out the feather in his hat occasionally, but he surely has a literal ton of them back home which he shows no one. (He also organizes them in piles of softness, beauty and size. Sometimes you can catch him rolling in the soft pile of feathers if you're lucky.)
