Marrow was the first Plague dragon to join the clan, back when it was very small. She left the Scarred Wasteland, and the pack she was born in, when they asked her to fight with them against another pack. She ran away from battle, fleeing to the Viridian Labyrinth in hopes of being well-received. When the leaders of the Wild Oasis found her, they were happy to see another Mirror. Marrow was hesitant at first, but when she saw the kindness in their eyes she knew she was with a better pack than before.
Since she is of Plague birth, she knows much about illness, disease, and other ailments, and she has no interest in causing any harm to anyone. So she took up the role of the clan healer and surgeon, to aid any dragons in need, whether they're a part of the clan or not.
Although Mirrors are not mages by nature, they still have magic, and sometimes (to Marrow's and her patients' chagrin) energy from Marrow's Plague element makes its way into a dragon she's trying to help, giving them a sometimes completely different ailment from what they had before. Marrow can usually control and prevent this, but when she can't, she apologizes profusely and asks her familiar to take over the care of that particular patient for a while.
