Ajvide, a landscape artist with a passion for painting her birthregion of the Windswept Plateau. Influenced by the dancing breeze and musical bamboo, Ajvide's dynamic works are full of life and colour, with details so realistic they almost leap off the canvas.

The talented guardian uses only paints that she has mixed herself, using a wide range of materials; from ground snail shells to shimmering fish scales to give many interesting colours and textures, with perhaps a touch of the Windsinger's magic added too. Ajvide's brushes are made from the finest bamboo shoots and woven with silky threads of gale wolf hair, imbued with the creature's gusty energy.

Every year during the Mistral Jamboree, Ajvide paints a huge mural in the village square for everyone to enjoy during the festivities. Inviting her friends from other flights to join the celebrations, dragons from clans all over Sornieth have admired the work of the humble artist, and many have asked to commission her for pieces for their own dens, but Ajvide prefers to stay among the windmills and reed-covered cliffs of her homeland, comforted and inspired by the restless currents all around her.
